You need more through-put than the data rate required for DV, which I believe is 3600 megabites per second. 6MB per second and up would do it. A SCSI-II or ultra SCSI-III drive with 7,200 or 10,00 spindle speed would be sufficient by itself. Now they are cheaper per gig than VideoRaid, which is good, but overpriced.
